Special Updates: Coronavirus, The Markets and The Economy

The health, the well-being and safety of our Universal Wealth Management (UWM) and Greenwood Credit Union Wealth Advisors (GCU) communities is our highest priority. 

In the face of daily uncertainties surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the markets and the economy, we are following the guidance of the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the RI Department of Health, FINRA, SEC and our broker dealer, Royal Alliance Associates, LLC.  We are taking the necessary steps to ensure that our ability to serve you remains unchanged.

Our entire senior leadership team has a formal response plan in place with the goals of keeping our employees safe and healthy and being available to meet our clients’ financial needs. As we continue to closely monitor developments surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the markets and the economy, we will continue to share our thoughts and insights with you. 

We are mindful that you rely on us to conduct business and we want to assure you that we are “in your corner” - and will remain there as we navigate this uncertain course.

Our Broker Dealer Business Continuity Plans/Incident Response Capabilities are continuously tested as a matter of course throughout each year. While each incident is different, we are confident in our ability to say “it’s business as usual” – and make good on that. Our digital capabilities, flexible work capacities, and stable infrastructure are the foundation of our ongoing support. That hasn’t changed and won’t going forward as we navigate this crisis TOGETHER.

To achieve the goals of keeping our employees healthy and meeting our clients’ needs, we are aggressively cleaning our facilities, limiting business related travel and reducing in-person meetings as appropriate. Additional precautions have been enacted all with the goal of ensuing our ability to meet your needs.
