Darren is one of our newest additions at Universal Wealth Management (UWM), joining the UWM Team in July 2025. Darren is a Financial Advisor and Client Services Associate at Universal Wealth Management. Darren has passed the Securities industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams.
As a Financial Advisor, Darren’s primary focus will be helping UWM clients make informed financial decisions and plan for their long-term goals. Working alongside Karen Emma, President and Founding Partner, Darren brings clear communication, careful attention to detail, and a commitment to the personal service UWM clients expect.
Darren is also a licensed insurance producer in the State of Rhode Island, licensed in the lines of Life, Variable Life & Variable Annuity, and Accident & Health products. He also serves as an Independent Medicare & Social Security Specialist within the Universal Social Security, Medicare & Healthcare Team.
Darren is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
Before joining our team, Darren was in management at Stop & Shop Supermarket, where he exceled in customer service and consistently delivered strong results, which he will look to continue here at UWM.
Darren currently resides in West Warwick, RI with his girlfriend Kate-Lynn. In his free time, Darren enjoys both hockey and golf.
